  1. Beautiful, gorgeous things there! It looks like one fine market! Sadly, I will have to wait until around July 1st for our farmer's markets to open here.

  3. Who needs a botanic garden when they have a farmers' market. I enjoyed ours as well. I went very early because of the predicted storms so didn't get the full effect. Flowers were just being put out as the rain started to come down. Thank goodness it was short lived.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  5. You have the most incredibly beautiful Farmer's Market, Cathy! It looks like something you'd find in Europe. I think the rains you've had have made their way here - just in time for full bloom peony season, of course.

  6. What a market! I am very envious.
We had a beautiful day here yesterday - blue sky, 19 degrees and sunny. Woke up this morning to the old familiar sound of rain on the roof. I'm worried that the berries will be scarce this year if the sun doesn't come out more often.

  7. Oh what I wouldn't GIVE to have those peonies!!! My radishes were lovely from my garden. And now I am going to have squash every which way!! Did you experiment any more with your ice cream machine? I will still get some recipes off to you. Been taking care of my poor husband, not much time lately. MY 3 yr. old grandson all week, then waiting on hubby all night and weekend. Nurse Bunny!!! Have a great day Cathy.

  13. Is this the perfection you get in Portland?
Alright then...when can I move in?
We still have quite a stretch to go before we get spoiled with anything resembling this wonderful produce.
Great of you to share it with us.
    Flavourful wishes, Claudia

  19. Yes, a perfect day indeed. Seeing the pictures reminds me of my visit a couple weeks ago, only in the drizzle. The zinnias are beautiful. So I see strawberries are starting. I really must get some for strawberry jam this year. Love, love Oregon berries.

  22. Cathy, we had another perfect day here in Southern California, but no farmers market:( I am going to try to get some tomatoes, at least, at a farmers stand at San Juan Capistrano. I have been enjoying your blog for a while now, thanks!
