  6. Beautiful roses! I have a few just starting to open after our hot weather this week. The parade must have been fun to see with all of those flowers on the floats!

  9. Always such a festive time in our city. I must get up to visit the Rose Garden soon. Check out the July/August issue of Victoria for some great coverage for Portland.

  11. Beautiful rose photos!! I have been to the Rose Festival only once that I remember--a friend that lived in the Metro area invited us for a boat ride. It was a very interesting way to see the festival!

  14. Beautiful! I just spent a few days in Fond du Lac, WI with a friend who used to live in Lake Oswego. I've seen many photos of that wonderful festival that she took. And, I'm so envious of your wonderful farmers' market. Our market started on Saturday but I was away. I'll be there this coming Saturday for sure.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  16. I remember one year...way back in the 70's... I sat on the edge of the curb with my friends, all sticky from popsicles melting in the warm sun...watching the floats passing by and having the time of my life. ;) It looks like we'll be having good weather this year. Yay!
