My Gorgeous New Cutting Board from Thibeault's Table

When the doorbell rang yesterday afternoon I knew my prize had arrived!
I (yes moi, the person who never wins anything) am the incredibly lucky person who won this gorgeous
Big Leaf Maple cutting board at a recent giveaway from Ann at Thibeault's Table.

The photographs of my new cutting board show it off nicely, but don't come close to showing how beautiful
this board really is.  There is so much depth to the grain in the hand finished surface and it is easy to see why
Big Leaf Maple is one of the world's most exotic hardwoods.

My new board is part of The Ann Thibeault Signature Collection Cutting and Presentation
Boards, individually crafted from Vancouver Island Big Leaf Maple.
You can visit Ann's Gallery HERE to see pieces that are available now and to find
locations of store that carry these spectacular hand crafted boards.
The holidays are coming up, and I can't think of a more wonderful gift for someone special
than a one-of-a-kind cutting board.

This is a gift that will bring years of enjoyment and become a treasured family heirloom.

I hope you will visit Ann so you can see the collection for yourself.  You are in for a treat because
Ann is an amazing photographer and a splendid cook and I love each and every one of her recipes.

Look at that beautiful edge! My board is over an inch thick
and the hand rubbed finish is as smooth as satin.

Thank you so much, Ann.
I will lovingly care for and treasure this beautiful work of art for many year to come.
