My 2 Year Blogiversary ~ And A Heartfelt Thank You Giveaway

Today is the 2 year anniversary of my very first blog post. Who would have thought that when I hit the "publish" button on September 7, 2008,  my life would change in so many exciting and frustrating ways. I had never heard of food blogs until that summer when I was researching hotels in Paris and stumbled upon David Lebovitz's blog, and my life hasn't been the same since. I was glued to my computer as I discovered one great blog after another and never would have believed that some of these same bloggers would turn out to be dear friends. The learning curve has been steep, challenging and fun!

My first post was my favorite Cauliflower Salad, and my first comment was from my daughter, Erin, who now has a fantastic blog of her own, Making Memories...One Fun Thing After Another.  I met Kim, at The Ungourmet, last summer and she and I now work together at the farmers market where I am a vendor every Saturday through the summer and fall. And a world that at one time seemed very large doesn't seem that way any more when I chat with friends around the globe.

So, to show my appreciation to all of you who have come to visit over the past two years, and especially to those dear friends who leave the comments that I enjoy so much I've assembled a few local products that I would like to share in a giveaway. Several are from my own Bavarian Nut Company, Cranberry Tangerine Chutney and roasted and cinnamon glazed almonds and hazelnuts, and also included are a jar of handmade marionberry jam from my friends at Greens Bridge Gardens and a box of Aplets & Cotlets from Libery Orchards in Cashmere, Washington.  A 3-pocket Wives with Knives chef's apron is also included.
