Salads are on my menu often during warm summer months
and I'm always eager to try new recipes with new flavors and combinations of ingredients.
But I do often go back to our list of family favorites for those
tried and true recipes that I know everybody with enjoy.
I've posted these recipes over the past two years
and thought you might enjoy browsing through them again.
They are favorites in my family.
Smoked Salmon and Asparagus salad and
Cauliflower salad are on this week's menu.

I love salad weather (although we eat them all year long) and you've got some beauties here. Anything with shrimp gets my attention, but the Crab Louie sounds wonderful! The mosaic is such a great idea :)

Hi, Cathy! I'm back!
ReplyDeleteI have been eating salads almost every day lately, and tonight I went with a friend to a restaurant and had a triple salad plate... chicken salad, fruit salad, and Caesar salad.
You aren't going to believe this, but we didn't get to go to the Ritz. There was a scheduling conflict we couldn't work out, and we had to change to a different tea room which was actually a lot of fun. I reported on that instead. The girls loved it because you could wear hats they provided, and they were a scream in theirs...so very grown up. Cecelia's best friend is like a little old lady and tickled me to pieces. She's so droll. LOL!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Gorgeous salads, Cathy. Now if I cold just find the warm in these summer months....
ReplyDeleteI really like that you have multiple salads that incorporate dungeness crab - they are the best!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Salads certainly make sense when it is so very warm. So many from which to choose...I will have to make more than one!
ReplyDeleteCathy, I love the mosaic AND the recipes! I'm sitting here struggling to figure out this darn background change thing on the blog- Allie isn't home today and we've been informed our background "disappears" tomorrow. AAACK!
