A Visit to the Windy City

Cloud Gate, The Bean, in Chicago's Millennium Park
a 66' long, 33' high stainless steel masterpiece that reflects the city's famous skyline.

I returned home last night from a wonderful week with family in Chicago.
I miss them all so much and still haven't adjusted to children and grandchildren living so far away.
The great restaurants and ethnic markets don't exist in my small town and I came home with a suitcase full of specialty items that I could never find locally.
Lots of good ideas for future posts.
And I was able to celebrate my grandson's 22nd birthday with family and friends.
It was a very good week.

  3. Welcome back, so glad you enjoyed your trip. I am looking forward to seeing what you brought back with you. I know what you mean about not being able to find some things here. I live in Roseburg and I have to go to California to find some things.
