The Gift for the Person Who Has Everything

If you are like I am you have people on your holiday list who are impossible to shop for. They have everything, are too picky, or don't want or need anything. But who wouldn't be thrilled to receive a pair of these toasty slippers. And they come in children's sizes too. I found this gift idea at The Portland Pickle, a terrific blog that always has up to the minute accounts of what's going on in our city. And Louisa posts interesting stuff like this. You gotta stop by for a visit to see all the slippers that are available for holiday shopping. Let's see now...I wonder what size my brother-in-law wears and would he prefer white or whole wheat?

  11. That is funny!! And it would be a good thing then to put your foot in your mouth..with a little butter maybe?

Speaking of feet..I went to college in Ohio. In town there were several homes turned restaurants where everything was homemade, delicious and cheap enough for students to enjoy!
A favorite take out from there was what they called a HEEL.
They hallowed out the heel of fresh Italian bread, and stuffed it with meatballs in sauce.
It was delicious, and if I remember, cheap!
And sometimes we bit off more than we could chew..ok, I'll leave now!
    Have a great weekend..
Just got back from shopping..there was a 20 off your whole order at Christmas Tree Shop, my fave..I had a great time!
    Home Goods is next week!
