This sweet little lady is a cheese grater
my daughter bought for me in Paris when we visited last April.
Isn't she adorable?
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where Dungeness crab is harvested most of the year.
A crab louie is my all time favorite salad.
French Breakfast radishes are in our farmers markets now.
They are delicious with sweet butter and a sprinkle of fleur de sel.
I've joined Laurie at Bargain Hunting and Chatting With Laurie today for
I hope you will drop by for a visit and see more special things.

This wonderful pasta recipe was posted by Pam at For the Love of Cooking a few months ago and it's been at the top of my "must make" stack of recipes ever since. I'm trying to use up some of the items in my freezer since my farmers market season opens next week and yesterday selected a container of marinara sauce and a small package of Italian sausage for this week's menu. I followed Pam's recipe but left out the mushrooms (didn't have any) and added sausage to my homemade sauce.
This is one of the most delicious pasta recipes I've tried in a long time. The cheese mixture is loaded with flavor and the whole dish can be prepared ahead of time. I served these stuffed shells with a garden salad and fresh strawberries over ice cream for dessert.
You'll find this wonderful recipe plus many others at

I hope you will drop by for a visit. I know you will enjoy Pam's blog as much as I do.

ReplyDeleteCathy, your little lady grater really is adorable.
ReplyDeleteAnd your Crab Salad is calling my name. Living a little further north of you, Dungeness crab is also available here year around. I know my salad loving husband would be thrilled with your salad.
And those shells, what a perfect picture. You have my mouth watering and I haven't even had breakfast yet.
